About 50 years ago in 1967 I sold the first car I had ever owned .At the time I knew it was a mistake but at 20 years old I did not have the funds to repair it. Ever since then every time I get into a car I compare it to my Frog eye and kick myself for selling it . Today the kicking is over ! Meet Ward my 1961 Frog eye Sprite . Just sitting in it brings a smile that half a dozen Jack Daniels couldn't match .Lots of work to do ,Hope to have it up and running in a couple of months .First will be brakes I would like to convert to discs Any info on what is involved would be appreciated Oh yes those are cow thingys behind the car it is in a barn but not for long

You'll find some pretty comprehensive info here. If you want to do it right, you'll need to change the A-arms and king pins too. The king pins are different for the disc brake setup, but you should consider new A-arms as well as all new bushings. These are parts that don't wear well with age and are usually more work to save than they are worth. I still have the master cylinder conversions available. They are the only ones available that will give you years of reliable, maintenance free service and are original equipment. Just ask anyone that's installed one over the last ten years.

Looks like you did very well. Congratulations. Oh, and welcome to BCF. Keep us posted on your progress. BTW, I don't have personal experience as my Sprite is still in a bunch of boxes but lots of folks here swear by Gerard's advice as well as bits.

Looks like when I get all the parts I will have to get in touch with Gerard for a MC. Just to make sure is this list complete rotors, callipers king pins and A arms?

And be sure to grab the rear backing plates off the donor car as well. That way you get to take advantage of 3/4" matching wheel cylinders in the rear as well.
