brakes, oil seals and bearings

But I didn't get it because it was $24 and I thought maybe Harbor Freight would be cheaper, it's just a drift at this point anyway. So I went to an HF outlet, no single sockets that I saw at all.

Ok - get back to HF and buy this https://tinyurl.com/6rwtj5 (or whatever is on sale) you will not regret it. there are three nuts 1. Front of Crankshaft, 2. Rear axle pinion seal 3. rear bearings. (and spin on adapter for oil canister) and trust me, at some point you will wrench them all.

You will find many uses for the sockets and impress the heck out of your friends 'cause you have a 3/4"socket set.

Seriously, you don't need an expensive one but I'd get the whole set.

let us know how it goes

Use a brown paper bag to make the gasket. It needs to be real thin, use a bit of goop on it.

I guess I'll reuse them, with some RTV smeared on them?

That should do it.

Will HF again tomorrow then. Got the rear hose replaced (although it looked newer). Got both new cylinders on but the old ones were held on by snap rings, the new came with c clips, I reused one snap ring but the other had a broken end, yes it was a pain to get off with only one end. I think I'll get another snap ring, those are way easier to get on and off, I couldn't get the c clips to go on anyway. Didn't get one of the paper gaskets under a cylinder on one side, not too troubled by that. Hope to get the right drifting tool and get those hubs back on and finish it up Tuesday. Classic Motorsports magazine is doing a Midget mod build, my dad sat in that car last week, my cousin works at the shop that is doing the work, I need to stop by there.
