I was afraid when I got my winter project that I would have to many variables when things came back together. I switched to a dual master and have really fought my way to completion. First the master wouldn't work from my rebuild. Never got it to work. Finally acquired a rebuilt master. Bench bled it and and then I couldn't get the front brakes to bleed. I had gotten new stainless steel lines and tracing my proplem, I found that the banjo part in the screw holding the line to the caliper didn't line up properly. Anyway, the brakes were bled last night and now on to other things. It is warming up and time to finish this winter project.

Brakes are good, should be driving time for you soon!

Sounds great /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

im praying I have the same sucess (or better even!). I just finished rebuilding the master cylinder on my car and once my stainless lines get in I will install those and be ready to bleed....brakes that is

Morris is looking for the later model dual line brake m/c. It turns out that they are kinda hard to come by unless you want to spring for a new one.

Why? Because he has switched to discs?

Morris has a later 1500 Midget, they used the (obviously termed) later style master cylinders.

Wow! My ears were burning. I forgot I posted that quesiton until now.

I thought KC was using the later style in his car. That's why I asked.

I read about a trick to rebuilding the MC on an MGB forum that I am going to try. If it works, I will let you know.
