Brake servo air filter

I am restoring a 1965 Austin Healey BJ8. I just rebuilt the brake servo but they didn't include a new air filter in the overhaul kit. This is the filter that screws down rather than clamps. The outer plastic shell at some point was burned or melted and the inside element is black and brittle. No part of it seems savable. Every place I have looked they say it is a not available part. Is there a substitute?
