My my 1956 Austin Healey, BN2 has been sitting for over a year but now finally decided to fix my brakes. I had problem with hand brake locking up so cleaned the shoe slide up so they now slide easy which seemed to fix hand brake problem. Now the the left rear wheel will not release when I apply the foot brake. My thought is to get a new left rear slave wheel cylinder? Any thoughts about this one wheel locking up? All worked well for most part for last 14 years. Thanks Marty

Had the same problem with my 56 BN2 but with both right front and back cylinders so worked on replacing the slave cylinders. Unfortunately, I went through multiple cylinders from Moss and others before I found ONE that wouldn't badly leak. Very poor workmanship with uneven cylinder walls. I finally got the rear brake working with the one good cylinder but gave up and installed a disc brake kit from AH Spares in the front (very good product.). Given the hit-or-miss on the new cylinders, maybe try lightly honing out the existing cylinder first.
