Does the BT7 have a brake booster?, I know the BJ8s do, but don't know what series they started it with. I am not familiar with ceramic, but I have tried semi-metallic on cars without a brake booster and some of those pads at least need to warm up a little to get a good bite, so you need a firm foot on the pedal for the first stop.
