Looking for some more advice here.

What is the best upgrade for the master cylnder/pedals for the racing bugeye? I wanted to add a bias valve and looking at Tilton pedals but unsure how to fit that to the bug. Size?

Ideas?
Thanks,
Velo.

Velo, I've got some drawings with measurements for building a peddle box and using the Girling masters. The design works well for the early peddle box openings in the Sprites. I'll try to find it this weekend if you're interested. It would give you another option to look at along with the Tilton.

Talk to you later.

The Tilton or Wilwood three cylinder pedal box is an easy fit and reasonably priced if you shop around, and can be mounted in the original position with a minimum of mods and reinforcement. Each have dimensions in the direction sheets or may b their websites. Use the rear cylinder mount type. Use a mechanical brake lite switch form a 70-80's GM car.

Use the shorter of the two pedal arm lengths. Calc the cylinder diameters you will need. If you use drums in the rear then also get a 10# rpv vale for the rear line.

I sold a Bugeye vintage race car to some folks in California last summer; it had the Wilwood setup. There are a few photos on the FOR SALE page I had up at the time; it's still on-line at:

Thanks all..great ideas as I expected. As I get deeper in the corners..ie braver, I need to make sure I can still slow down if needed.....
