Brake master cylinder BJ8

Hi inmates,

does anyone know the difference between the non-servo vs. servo version of the brake master cylinder? According to part lists both have a 7/8" bore. However, I could not find any further info about'em. I have a new Girling type 875 lying around, which is of 7/8" bore, and wonder whether I can utilize it for my model Mk3 BJ8.

Cheers Dieter
