T-Series Brake master adaptor

I just finished re-plumbing the brake system on my 1952 TD and realized I had left out the adaptor that goes to the back of the master cylinder. The new master is a TRW from Moss. I did not have a problem installing the new pipe from the master to the 4 way union and it seems like the pipe is well seated in the new master. The adaptor was from the old master cylinder and I was intending to install it on the new master but forgot all about it till the very end. Will I have problem with leaks without this adaptor installed? Thanx.
 
I used to have a spare MC but as usual I cant find it.
I crawled under my TD (52) and took the attached picture.
Look at the two arrows.
The sealing method is entirely different.
The adapter seals to the MC wit a copper gasket.
The Pipe uses a taper flair seal .
Even if the pipe threads into the MC it will leak.

I believe, you do need the adapter and be sure to either use a new copper washer or anneal the old one.
