wow that was the most lubricated brake drum Ive ever seen!
well ive replaced the shoes and the cylinder and it seems in good but the adjuster seem stripped where do the lower parts of the shoes fit are the slides notched? i thought of this just after putting the wheel back on. maybe they are slipped behind the slides.

the pads just rest on the adjustment shims and the springs hold them there. are you sure they are correctly installed? As I recall, they fit in kind of an inverted V which spreads as you tighten the bolt

mine are much wider then that wish me luck tomorrow was i try and import to holland ( i will miss my norwegan plates!)
