Brake line kits

What size pipe should be used on the clutch in later model Sprites?

If you have a 1275 slave cylinder, ie. with rubber hose to the slave, the line is 1/4" pipe with 7/16-20 ends. It is important to use this diameter all the way from master to slave. The is an adapter originally on the master to go from the 3/8-24 thread up to the 7/16.

I have the copper-nickel brake line kit from Moss.
I would like a similar copper-nickel line for the clutch.
Where can I get one?

So should I order 1/4 inch copper nickel pipe with 7/16-20 ends and an adapter to go from 7/16-20 to 3/8-24 on the master cylinder? What length?

Hi All,
I contacted AH Spares about their clutch pipe to see if it was made out of the same material (kunifer) as their brake pipe kits and it isn't. It's made out of copper. which would make the two lines look different from one another (which would look strange where they run together in the engine compartment). They did say that they could see about having one made out of kunifer for me though.
definately an option.

my 61 BE with 948 and smoothcase trans and original master cylinder has a 2 piece clutch line with a union in the middle. Has anyone seen this before? is it original or has someone spliced this line early in the car's life?
