I have restored many cars but this is my first Sprite. Can someone tell me how to form the ends on the brake lines. It appears that you start a double flare but don't complete it as you would on an American car. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
 
Is called a bubble flare.
 
Yes Jack is correct, and there are actually two different forms of bubble flare. Luckily, the interchange safely.
 
Thanks for the replies. I have a good flaring tool. My question is how to form the bubble flare. Am I correct in my assumption that you do not complete the double flare as you do on American vehicles?

I have a set of copper BE brake lines left over. Not sure it's complete but I'm probably going to sell it. Flare ends done, fittings installed, I think there's four pieces in the kit.
 
If you look at the drawings for each type of flare, then there are two types of bubble flare - the modern DIN/ISO flare and the older Girling flare. Fortunately, as Trevor has said, they are pertty much interchangeable, particularly if you use a tubing line Cunifer, which seems slightly more maslleable than normal steel tubing.
And yes, you can get away with quitting a double flare half-way through.
