Brake hose and steering question...

Offline
The new hose I put on seems like it may be just slightly shorter than the old one... It pulls nearly straight (but with little tension) at full lock. Is this right?

Are there adjustable steering stops? Seem like one side turns slightly a bit more than the other also (left wheel turns to the right more than right wheel turns to the left - if that makes sense. Is that normal too?

Sounds as if an alignment was done and the rack was not used as the "zero point". The rack should be held at it's mid-point of movement, half way EXACTLY, the steering links then used to align toe-in. That should allow equal distance for both right and left lock... center the steering wheel last.

Hope that makes sense.

What doc says is probably correct, Kenny...I had the same issue with my new stainless ones until & disconnected the steering & recentered
