i need to replace the front brake calipers on my tr6. i know its not an m16 because the bleed nipples are SAE, not metric. but i can't tell if its 16P or 16PB. i've attached two pictures. i think 16P?

this is a nice link and why i think its 16p: https://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/20913-which-brake-caliper-is-this/

Take a pad out and look at the piston boot. If it has a retaining ring over it next to the body, they're the B version.

Depending on how clean things are, you may be able to see the ring without removing a pad. But you might not see it if it's covered in dust and dirt.

i am ordering a set from TSI, and they require i return the exact same core. Ted also said "The other indicator is size of hole in caliper for pin that retains pads. 16P caliper uses a pin that is 1/4" diameter. 16PB caliper has a 3/16" pin."

Oops, my bad. Somehow I thought the pins changed with the metric version, but you and Ted are quite right.
