Hi i live in australia and have a mk4 english import spitfire "very rare here" they never made this model in aus.
anyway the brakes are ****, as you guys would probebly know, i want to fit a PBR VH$$JA brake booster, "who has done this" what i wan tto know is not how to fit it, but where to fit, if anyone has any cluew i would love to hear from them, Thanks
 
I don't mean to be discouraging but a brake booster reduces the pedal pressure required to stop, it does not improve braking at all, in terms of distance required to stop.

I'm not specially familiar with Spitfires but would guess they should stop well with reasonable pressure on the pedal if the braking system is well maintained, other Triumphs do. Maybe you can compare with another Spitfire, I believe they should have similar brake systems.

I fitted one to my GT6 MkIII. It originally came with a booster that's NLA, so I converted it. I'd agree with Simon tho', that a booster won't fix poor brakes. Before doing the booster, I'd attack all the rest of the brakes, replacing or rebuilding everything. Try using more aggressive pads (EBC Greenstuff or Hawk HPS for example), although I don't know if they're available for Spits. Use braided stainless flex lines, as they improve pedal feel, or at least replace the flex lines as they get spongy with age and will absorb braking effort by ballooning (right before they fail).

I'd also take some time to get used to the brakes, if you're new to the car. Two things to know. Sixty's brakes aren't too impressive compared to moderns, so you need to adjust your expectations somewhat. But they'll still work pretty well when in good shape. Second, unboosted brakes can feel pretty dead if you're used to boosted brakes. The pedal pressures will be startlingly high by modern standards, but they do work.
