brake bleeding sequence

Got my mityvac today and it recommends bleeding the wheel closest to the MC first. I've always done the farthest first. what difference does it make? and why?
Reading what this tool can do makes it sound like it is the tool to end all tools.(yea, right!)

I seriously doubt that the sequence really makes much difference. In theory, doing the longest line first gets the most air out of the system so that the others are easier.

If using a vacuum bleeder, be sure to seal the bleeder screw threads with Teflon tape before bleeding. Air will leak around the loosened screw threads & you will be sucking air forever, even when there is none in the system.
