Brake backing plate questions

Drew,
As an inexpensive alternative, assuming you have a compressor, you might try one of the el-cheapo hand held, gravity fed blasters availabel from Harbor Freight and others. I bought two during a half price sale (normally $30, on sale for $15/ea...today on the web site they are listed at $20) and believe it or not, if you're not in a hurry and don't a lot of parts, or large parts, you can do OK with one. I have both a cabinet and a bottle blaster, and for the little jobs I invariably reach for one of these.
