I almost hate to admit this but after 9 years on a frame off restoration I just now noticed a bracket on the passenger side of the car. It is a support bracket for the steering column. I guess its there so I could convert to a right hand drive. My question is do all TR's come so equipped?

Are you talking about the one on the frame? If so, yes, they came that way to handle both LHD and RHD versions.

Just checked my '59 TR3-A (TS43919L) & it does in fact have the passenger side steering bracket.

Only the later cars, that are set up for the split steering column. AFAIK, they all have it, even the "LHD only" TR3B. Except it sometimes gets cut off, to make more room for an alternator conversion.
