Brace yourselves

Had to chuckle at this part: "While beleaguered New England will see two rounds of snow โ€” on Thursday and Saturday โ€” precipitation won't significantly impact most areas affected by the arctic blast."

This new blast will now freeze our five foot snowdrifts into blocks of ice.

Oh joy. Need to add this tool to my kit:

A quote supposedly from Ronald Reagan: "If the Pilgrims had landed in California, the east coast would still be a wilderness."

If the Pilgrims had some from the west instead of the east, we'd all be speaking Chinese!

My brother in eastern NY has had to shovel out not only the driveway and way, but part of the backyard. Seems its gotten too deep for the poor dog to go do her business. Here in Ohio, we've only had enough to more or less cover the grass once so far this winter.

Nope................ WARMER weather! Yippie... might be 62 today in Portland. :encouragement:

What is this stuff you call "snow"? I've seen it a few times, mainly when I'm in the mood for French toast.

I just got home (10:37pm) and it's 15 degrees farenheight and dropping fast.
By the time morning comes it should be about 8 degrees. Burrrrrr

63F today. New record.

And here I thought this was going to be about SI's latest SS cover. I hate to see what they gonna do to "top" that one....:eeek:

sure - just rub it in, rub it in ... New England cats don't take kindly to that ...

It was 7 degrees when I left for the gym this morning. Oh yeah, I was in a pair of shorts and a ski jacket.

So from now on can we just call you "Blue Knees?"

I'm OK with that bas.... it beats being called Red Neck. Just saying

I saw the "Brace Yourselves!" and immediately thought of the USAF crew chief who shouted that back to us sitting in fold down seats along the sides of a C-141 just before
