Boyd Coddington, the cranky hot-rod guy, has died.

Info ~Here~.

Well, I'm not too shocked-I was under the impression that he had some health problems before.

Was his television show still on? I catch reruns here and there.

-Wm.

I liked that show. Too bad he was one of the oldies still left making hot rods.

Sadly, his TV show did not portray him in the most positive light (accurately??). He was creative and committed to quality. He was true pioneer of modern rodding.

i didnt think of him as "cranky" just heck bent on having his employees interpret his ideas the way he wanted them, all the guys i liked on the show left for greener pastures and less stress leaving his p.i.t.a. foreman to continue needlesly harassing the troops. thats m.h.o. - r.i.p. boyd.

Regardless of his "personality problems", he did build some pretty hot-rods!!

Well, there's gonna be a heck of an estate battle there (& they will fight!)...1st wife has part of the business, 2nd wife always appeared as a 'golddigger'..at least 1 son appeared to be a bum who preyed on dad...& weren't there more than the 1 kid?

News reports still not saying how he died. Can't believe he was only 63.
