It's really funny what marketing can produce. We were in the western part of Holland (a few klicks from Germany)in June. My business colleagues and I were drinking the local brew, mostly Grolsch. But, the local young gereration were drinking Bud. Yuck!!! I wouldn't use it to wash my feet. :pukeface:
 
If I were in the Netherlands, I'd be drinking La Trappe. You can find it here, but not very often and not all of their varieties. :thirsty:

They're likely succumbing to the advertising.... and a desire to be "hip". :devilgrin:
 
Our secretary, a Brit, who just returned from a trip home, brought me a bottle of this - very apropos, no?
