Our MG club ( Boston Area MG Club ) is hosting a dyno day at New England Dyno ( https://www.nedyno.com ). It is being billed at a British Car Dyno Day. You can bring anything you want, but the intent it to get LBCs there to get them tuned on a rolling chassis dyno!

Dyno day signup and information!

Dyno Day has been booked for August 4th!! We had a Dyno day in 2005 and it was a great success! What it is, for those of you who do not know what it is. A dyno is a rolling road you put your car on. A computer attached to the dyno will calculate out your horsepower and torque of your car, as well as tailpipe air/fuel ratio to aid you or your mechanic in tuning your motor to it's full potential. This is not only for high performance cars, but daily drivers as well. Here are some pictures from our last Dyno Day 2005 Dyno Day Pictures!

The shop, New England Dyno will be providing a cookout lunch and refreshments. Please contact me or the shop with any special meal requests. The cost of the Dyno day is $70 per car. Space will be limited due to the time it takes per car on the dyno. The event will be capped at 12 cars! Sign up early!! Information on the shop and for directions..see the shop's website

Let me know if anyone has any questions!

I will do my best to be at that! Thanks for the info. Now I gotta find my appointment book.

Do you really think they will allow you to put that steroidal duck on the DYNO around all those MG's?

On a serious note if you can record some TQ&HP numbers and what seems to be the upgrades on the TR6's it would make interesting reading for many TR6 owners. Hope you make it to the meet.

Vette,

I'd like to get a reading with the carbs, headers and ignition changes. I have nothing to compare it to from my car's past, but I want to see just what is says, so when I swap the had and bump up the compression, I'll have a comparison.

I'm in!

Let the games begin.....where are those MG's hiding???

Nothing yet, it isn't happening until August 4th.

Yup Aug 4th is the date. There are still a few slots left.

Email me if you would like more information. You, of course, can just come down and watch and enjoy the BBQ lunch as well. See the link in my orignal message for detailed information
