My youngest son, David, is flying to Borneo this morning to spend six weeks running a jungle medicine clinic for the locals. He promised to bring me back a baby orangutan. Pictured is his friend Irene and friend, who just left there.

Irene left, the orangutan stayed. The matriarch for an orphaned baby orangutan sanctuary.

Once watched an adult male orang turn a tire <span style="font-style: italic">inside-out</span>... convinced me those beasts are to be avoided.
