Boot Lid Badge

I have a Healey BJ7 3000 and need to mount the Healey badge on the boot.

I have the 3 holes already in place to fix the "Austin Healey" badge, but no holes or idea where the "3000" badge should be mounted in relation to this. I think the holes must have been filled in on painting?

Can anyone provide an image or rough measurements please before I start drilling holes.

The Clausager book shows 2 examples of the 3000 logo. The location differs slightly.

Greg thanks, to me that looks like about 2" down from the Healey badge following the same angle.
I may just have to take a stab at it.

is there anything on the back side of the trunk lid that gives you a clue where the holes may have been?

Here's some photos from a spare BT7 trunk lid I have.
