Does any body have any suggestions on how to install and adjust the alingment of the bonnet. This is the last big piece to install on the TR. I am having a time with getting all the edges lined up and the duze fasteners to line up.

If you are talking about a TR6, remove the grille and remove the safety catch so you don't jam it shut. Having the grille out allows easy access to the front hinges.

Opps sorry TR3

A few things to consider....It's easier if it can be a two or three person job...Install your cowl vent before proceeding and be sure it doesn't protrude foreword of the cowl itself... Leave off the bonnet release mechanism.. you can deal with that after the bonnet is on properly...Be sure your buffers are loose so you can raise/lower them as you proceed.... Don't be concerned with the Druz hold-down brackets on the inner fender; they have LOTS of adjustment. In fact, leave them off also for now; they just get in the way...Attach the hinges...easy tight on both ends...You're going to be doing & undoing them a lot, but for now you need control, especially if you don't have help.
I was so worried about scratching my new paint that I laid a bed sheet over the bay before I started. A sheet is thin enough so you can see where you are. (Perhaps a bit anal, but I had NO chips or scratches)----Good luck (& it will fit eventually!!)
