Bonnet/Hood adjustment

The back edge of my hood/bonnet rubs up against the shroud when I open it. Otherwise, the gaps are fine and it latches correctly. It's original to the car. I don't see any adjustment in the hinge area to move it forward a skosh (doesn't need much to clear). Any ideas?

Bonnet hinge bars should have slightly slotted holes in them to allow for adjustment. If they don't, perhaps you could remove them and slot the holes as needed?

How is the height (flushness)? That will also allow it to rub there if the hood sits a little low compared to the shroud.

That was it! The rear of the hood was a little low. Raising it took care of the issue. Thanks a bunch.
