Well today was a nice day down here so I decided to take the BE out for a longer drive. I took it out for about 15 miles down a good long backroad stretch were I could open it up. I got it up to 65. wow that seems really fast in such a tiny car. It also didnt help that I havent put the windscreen back on yet.
Anyhow I just got the front clip back on the car last week. That wasn't nearly as easy as taking it off. we got it lined up fairly well. It sits flush with the bulkhead so no problem there. However when the bonnet is shut the fender arch bows out about a 1/2 inch or so past the rocker panels. It only does this at the front the rear portion is flush with the A-post. Has anyone else had this Problem? Is it something that can be fixed by adjusting the hidges? I wonder if the fact that it sat on the ground for over a year let it spread out in this area.
