take out the front screw holding the fender and replace with bumper screw.

i'm not sure I follow.
These are standard parts. The number for Moss is 680-530. I don't see them on my restoration parts list so they might be the originals. They look awful new though. Maybe I just did a real good job of cleaning them up.
I'm headed for the shop now so I can get some close up photos.

Here's a close up of the buffer and Dzus bracket.
I found that it's a bit of a juggling act to get the two parts adjusted right. The idea is to set it up so the bonnet is flush with the aft edge of the apron. That is going to be set by the height of the buffer / bumper. I figured out that I had to add shims under the bracket so that the bonnet didn't touch the bracket when it was firmly setting on the buffer. On the other hand, the buffer can't be too low so that you have to really lean on the bonnet and Dzus to get it to engage the bracket. You also don't want to have the Dzus pull the bonnet down so that it contacts the bracket with the Dzus engaged. That was my problem the first time around. Now it doesn't take a lot of torque on the handle to comfortably set the Dzus.
