Bolt size for splash panels?

Trying to get everything lined up properly before I do the welding up of the bulkhead and need to secure the bracket for the splash panel to the front of the B.H.
What is the size of the bolts that screw into the bracket that will hold the splash panel on?

1/4" N.F. if you're talkin' the splash panels inside the front fenders.

If they are riveted put in nutserts and bolts. Simple to do then you can remove anytime.
