How much does a stripped body shell weigh? I've started shipping parts for a full restore. Just wondering if me and a few of my friends will be able to safely pick it up, or if it's still gonna be ridiculously heavy. If so, I'll just leave the suspension on it so it can be rolled.
 
You and a few friends should be able to pick it up.

Midget weighs 300-350 lbs stripped - two of us could carry it a short distance.

extrapolating, the B should be 400 - 450 lbs?

My best guess from a country where they have universal health care so I don't pay for hernias! :grin:
 
When I lifted my TR6 body it was easily done by 2-3 people. I'm guessing the body didn't weigh more than 600 lbs.
Your MG body should be less; I think JP is probably pretty close.
