Body Seam

Can you let me know if the seam in the photo should be filled or left depressed?

I think your post 60k body is not filled, while my pre 60k body is leaded shut.

I agree. My original body, TS23,6xx was leaded over, and the post 60k body I used was not...although I did lead them in, as I was doing a lot of other leading on the body. Repair seams and along edges.

They say it is that way to allow for flex in the body at that point. Not an engineer but just repeating the chatter i have heard.

It was cheaper not to lead them in on the post TS60000 TR3As and the TR3Bs. At that stage of production, every penny saved meant a lower selling price than the competiton - so S-T would probably sell more new TRs.
