Body Plate/ Punch set

Anyone know where you can get a replacement for the body
plate. This is a small plate with a set of numbers and letters.
Located on the right side of the body(TR4A). Different from
the VIN(?) which is on the left.
Also, anyone have an idea where I can purchase a punch set
that closely resembles the original #'s and letters.
Regards
Harry

If it is like a TR4 and you're referring to the tag at the lower left of this photo:

That plate appears to be just a piece of plain aluminum stamped with 1/4" characters.

Something like this might work --

-- the question would be how closely it resembles the original font. Some characters (such as 3's) can vary quite a bit.

Let me know if a close-up of that plate would be useful.

Needed to check The Roadster Factory on-line cataloge, so I looked for Commision Plates. They have TR-4 plates in an early and late style.

Geo,
That's the tag I'm looking for !
Will probably fab out a piece and stamp it out.
Will check out some of the stamping sets for matching.
Thanks Everyone !

Hey Harry-

If you make an extra or two I could use a blank. Mine was lost when the rivets fell off from corrosion.
