Did anyone see the show on PBS about Bob Newhart last
night?Forgot how funny he was.
My Dad had one of the original albums - good stuff.

Mine too! I grew up with the wit and observational wisdom of Newhart. And the likes of Vaughn Meader and Tom Lerher....

That American Masters PBS show was originally aired a few years ago and repeated last eve here, too. VERY enjoyable.

"Grace L. Ferguson Airline and Screen Door Company"

The "Bus Driver School"

"Vatican Rag"

Yes, and I've seen it before. It's great. I loved watching Newhart in "heck is for Heroes".

The Elements song.... The hunting song... "An Evening Wasted..." one of my favorites.
And Newhart, It seems his older stuff is hard to find, but well worth the search. He's a master.

And now for those watchin' PBS...

A reunion of "Cream"...

"Spoonfull"...

w00t-w00t!!!

We used to play "Hi Bob" in college. Anyone else?

Basically it involved sitting around watching re-runs of The Bob Newhart show and every time anyone said,"Hi Bob" you chugged a beer. O.K. we were in college O.K.?
