I have a that Bobcat grew up in my yard visits on a regular basis. It has become comfortable with me in the yard and we have an agreement of sorts. I don't get very close to him and he does not attack me. One day a while back, I noticed him toward the back of my yard and I started to walk his way. When I was about 30 yards from my house, he stood up. That was when I noticed that he had grown quite a bit larger and he now has a TAIL! It was a pretty big mountain lion and he could have easily had me for lunch. Fortunately, he just shook his head and walked off.

I had that happen years ago.I used to get off work around 10PM.
We had a really big cherry tree in front of our house,& would often
see cats on it,& would "Shoo" them off,& they'd run away.
Well,one night I came home & saw another animal in the tree,&
assumed it was a cat,& "Shoo'd" it away.Imagine my surprise when I
discovered that it was the BIGGEST Raccoon I'd ever seen!I quickly re-
treated to the house.

We had a Bobcat cross the backyard a couple of weeks ago. My wife was trying to describe it as a large tabby cat, but I quickly realized it was something else. Picture below shows it in a neighbor’s front lawn, near the landscaping blocks. Well camouflaged!

This little kitty was about 15 feet from me. Until I glanced over to my right, I hadn’t noticed she was there. Good thing I was wearing brown pants
