First let me thank you all for the responses on my exhaust welding question,
When I bought my car the battery cover was made of wood and is now being replaced with the Kilmartin panel. My plan is to weld the hinges to the cover and paint, then bolt the hinges/cover to the car. it there a right or wrong location for the hinges? should the hinges be on the top surface of the panell and car or between the gap where these two panels meet? Not too concerned with concours parts but if there is a correct way to do it I may as well do it that way. thank you in advance for your responses
