BN7 Batch Number

BN7 owners I need a little help. I am rebuilding a 1960 BN7 that was in a fire and the body number tag was melted. I will get the body number from the BMIHT but that will not have the batch number. The car is a 1960 and the number is 9471 so if anyone has a BN7 near that number I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Steve

Those numbers don't run consecutive; the story I've always gone by (must've read it in a book at some time) is that Jensen assigned a number as they built/trimmed the body and loaded them into a truck. then the VIN was assigned at Abingdon in the reverse order as they were off loaded.

Good luck though, you might just get lucky!

Randy,
Thanks for the info. Your batch number is 4690. I believe that the BN7's only had two maybe three batch numbers for the whole run.. Hopefully someone out there has a 1960 with a serial number close to mine that will provide the batch number.

Steve
