A few weeks ago Rich Chrysler put me in touch with a lady from Virginia who was selling a car that her late father had owned. At the time I figured Rich referred her to me because I live relatively close to where the car is located--now I must presume that he did it due to his illness.

I have not seen the car nor do I have any financial interest and for any further details please contact the seller, Stephanie Baglio at 434-973-8552 or sbaglio@focusriskrecruiting.com. Beyond my knowing that Bob Eshleman did excellent restorations here is all of the information that I have:

1957 Austin Healey 100 Six, series BN6 (two seater) Red with black interior. Total frame-off restoration in 2001). Everything was rebuilt or replaced. Comes with tonneau cover and regular top. SS exhaust, 72- spoke chrome wheels overdrive, wooden steering wheel, fog lights, car cover and pocket storage; outstanding condition.

Serial # Engine # BN6L2123- Model 100-6 BN6

Restoration -- The restoration was completed by Bob Eshleman of Annville, PA in 2002. It was not restored to "concours" status, but instead has a number of upgrades and improvements over the originally-produced BN-6model that made this "driver" restoration more reliable and faster. We reviewed approximately $40,000 of Mr. Eshleman's receipts for this car's restoration. Mr. Eshleman has restored many award-winning Austin Healeys over 40 years.

Interesting to note that that BN6 (2123) is also considered a 1957 model.

Mine (BN6L942 built May'58) has always, to the best of my knowledge, been titled as a 1957.

I hope the lady gets what she hopes for...
