As most Healey driver I frequently crunch the silencer on some of those equipements our roads are now full off in order to slow down the cars.
So my brand new stainless steel silencer is already to be replaced.
I plan to put a normal mild steel silencer to replace (frequently and economically) the actual stainless steel big bore. Is there a diameter difference between standard exhaust pipes and 'big bore' stainless steel one ? Can I mix and adapt those ?
Also are any silencers better than other in order to reduce the loud noise but still have a "Healey sound" ?
Supplier has to be either Moss , or AH spares or SC parts.
Thanks for advising me
