after seeing the price of the above in one of the vendor catalogs, i think that i will cut and stitch my own trunk kit for my 1959 bn6 two seater....non-stock! has anyone else done this and if so where can one purchase the correct material in the states. do stock healeys have ribbed or non-ribbed in the trunk area?thanks for your help!

thanks rick. i have asked earlier when i bought my rear package/spare tire area....they do not have the bn6 two seater kit. i will call tomorrow and double check.

i called nos locators and they do not sell the two seater bn6 kit. but it would seem that other than the bulkhead and battery placement that the trunks are very similar. i am relocating my battery to the rear compartment. the bulkhead opening for the spare tire has some sort of composition board to outline the opening. anyone with thoughts on this. the nos bj7, bt7 kits are a third of the price of the other supplier that i buy most parts from....i might be willing to try substituting.. thanks for any advice!!

Hi Max,

Try these guys, https://www.hirschauto.com/specialcarpet.htm

I used some of the black when I changed my trunk around and it looks beautiful.

I got a roll of it about 42" wide x 5 yards long.
