BN4 Longbridge / Abingdon feature combination???

Came across this on Utube and was wonder when any of
these might have been made?

At about the 28 to 30 sec mark the top feature is shown pretty well but it appears to be a combination of a Longbridge and Abingdon top bracket attached on top of it. I don't recall reading about any cars that were a combination of the two. Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Well I do not know. But the fender spears are on baclwards so maybe anything goes.--Keoke--- :frown:
 
I was at a British car repair shop the other day and the one Healey had the spears on backwards also. I see more and more like that. :wall:

Are you talking about the top frame mounting weldments in the car right behind the doors? I so, they are basically the Longbridge series brackets but with raised tubular spiggots welded to them. Strange.

I imagine the rearmost so a later type of hood frame can be fitted and the foremost for a hard top. They appear to be an owner modification.
