BN2 Windshield Scratches Paint When Virtical.

On my 1956 BN2 the windshield scratches the paint when it is in the vertical position. I was wondering if there is a clear plastic tape that I could put in that area to protect the paint. I want something that can be removed easily without causing damage. Thanks Marty

Hey Marty,
If yours is like mine then the rubber seal actually does the scratching. I need to do the same thing as after a repaint I did not replace a about 2 inch wide strip of clear plastic tape/vinyl that protects that area and now I will need to polish the scratches out ! Think Griot's Garage sells something we can use. Know there is also a spray on clear plastic covering that some have used, might be a thread about it on here somewhere.
Regards
Mike

Mike, I just bought clear "Bodyguard" plastic tape by TrimBrite. My worry is that I might not be able to remove if needed later. Has anyone used this product and removed it with no problems?? Marty
