BN1 rear wheel hub

RobertM
axle or hub extension? left or right side?
if its the hub extension than these can be got new from suppliers

Hi Bob What is wrong with the hub you have if you have one? ?--Keoke

My question would be the same as Keoke's. But if you must have one, Try Healey Surgeon's in Maryland. It never ceases to amaze me the stuff they have.

The studs have come out and been stripped. I tried Healey Surgeons and they said the one they have is not very good. I am hoping someone might have one in their parts bin they might be ready to part with.

Hi Bob, I believe there are repair type studs available which a machine shop can press in for you. However, You might give British car specialties a call and see if they can service you.--Keoke

Robert -

SC Parts in the UK sells a replacement hub for 199# (sc part no 321 588), but it uses the same old studs so will be prone to failure eventually.

If you are willing to wait 6 months or so, I am in the process of machining and producing new completely redesigned hubs which will make the old BN1 axle better and more reliable than the later axles which are heavier. But you will have to be patient with me, I am very busy at work these days.

Good Luck!
