BN1 Rear Chassis-to-Shroud Extensions

I hope someone can help. I am restoring a BN1. I am at the point of replacing the two rear chassis to shroud extentions.
The last owner removed the old ones so I have no way of setting the new ones at the right high so the body will fit right.
Can anyone tell me the right height of he extentions.
I was going to place a straight edge along the top chassis then measure up to the centre of the top bumper bracket hole.
Hope this makes sense.

Thanks for any help
Regards Norman

G'day Norman,
The end of the chassis outriggers support the shroud at the bottom edge of the boot lid opening. I would suggest using the opening as a datum. There is a transverse strip between the outriggers that the shroud sits on and is riveted to. The rear bumper is supported by these outriggers, so the they should be positioned to suit the bumper irons. The illustration shows the appropriate K.A.S. component.
Cheers,
Alwyn
