BN1 fuel, brake and wiring along chassis rails

Hi

I am almost ready to fit the new harness and brake lines to my Healey. Has anybody any close up photos of the chassis rail section as I am unsure how to fit everything to avoid them being damaged. The clamps and clips were all missing, so am also trying to determain the number and type that should be fitted. Particularly interested in what the fuel line clips should look like.

From memory they are "P" clips for both fuel and wiring down the side of the main chassis rail held in place by self tapping screws

Where in Australia are you located? I live in Ipswich, Qld.
There are many very original BN1s in the various AH clubs around the country.
It might pay for you to go to a club event to inspect some cars.

I have had a look at a couple of BN1's in the Healey club in SA, but all were slightly different. On some the wiring seems to be incorrect as it hangs below the chassis rail and could be easily damaged by a speed bump ect... From Michael's photos looks like everything should fit neatly on the side of the chassis rail.

Hi Graham,
When first installed, the loom will be snug along the chassis rail, but it will droop with age. According to the Anderson & Moment's Restoration Guide the loom was originally wrapped in insulating tape, which may give it enough rigidity for it not to droop.
Make sure you use plenty of "p" clips along the rail.
Healeys all seem to be different! When restoring my 100 I was concerned about the dimension of the front wheel arch. I took a tape measure to a car display and every BN1 that I measured was different!
