Probably the incorrect place to post but have acquired a bunch of bits including an early model radiator, complete steering, original ali fan, genny, starter, etc, so if any one is chasing that lil elusive part, it might be in the pile, sorry no body parts

I am restoring my 55 BN1. I know I need a new radiator. Is the one you have good? What else do you have?

Hi DougF,
Yes there is one of those complete including the original screw in type spark plug lead lucas cap, I'll clean it down and get the model number info to confirm

Hi Thieme,
The rad I have looks like the one sketched in the W/Shop manual on page O/15, not like the sketch on page B/1, its complete including the brass drain plug

zblu,

DougF is a friend of mine that was actually inquiring about the distributor for me. I'm looking for a backup for my BN1. Are there any other numbers on it as I'm not familiar with DKY4A. I've seen numbers like DM2P4, 40320 and 40495. Are there any other numbers on it and did you use it in your BN1?

Thanks,

Kurt

Thieme,
The one I have is the one used on the first few hundred 100/4's, it would not be anatomically correct for yours being a 1955 model
Cheers

RobertM,
Have cleaned down the steering box, looks identical to mine, which is an early BN1, only info on it is "Patent No 603946 Patent Pending and C 350 and L | 6 stamped onto the ali housing where it is pinned to the steel tube that houses the steering shaft

zblu,

Regarding the distributor, let me know what you want for it at my e-mail address fks@verizon.net. My BN-1 is actually a '54 so I would think that it should work as a backup. Thanks,

Kurt
