Hi everyone

I'm curious to find out if anybody can help me with the original mixing code of the BMC paint colour code AL1 (one few paints mentioned on old BMC paint sheeds without a mixing code attached) used on Dunlop wire wheels in the early 1960'es. Also if possible to inform me the original paint supplier of the AL1 paint.

Please let me know if anybody can help me out!

Kind regards
Kenneth

After many years of research, this is the closest match in a arerosal spray. https://www.amazon.com/Hammerite-Smooth-Finish-spray-Aluminum/dp/B002MYN8VU. Or you can get it in a quart size, https://www.amazon.com/Hammerite-Sm...=1387171299&sr=1-98&keywords=Hammerite+Paints If you go this way, add a few ounces of this https://www.amazon.com/Acrylic-Enamel-Hardener-4-Pint-FINISH/dp/B00FPE5NNU you can get a near powdercoat effect when sprayed through this economy spray gun:https://www.harborfreight.com/20-oz-8-cfm-gravity-feed-spray-gun-67181.html

Best of luck,
