Dale.....maybe you can help this fellow with the TR6 he bought from PR. I mean.....how many of them could there be? Maybe Pedro worked on it at some point! :wall:

<span style="color: #990000">Yeah Bobby, I think I know the car. If it is THIS
TR6 I know a bit of the story. Rode hard put away wet. I gave
THIS TR6 a 15 minute inspection but did not drive it - For what
little my mechanical knowledge of a TR6 is worth!!!

I'd be more than happy to help the new owner
If you are able to contact him, sugggest he visit the Triumph
forum here to begin with. I dropped out of 6-Pack.

EDIT:The owner of THIS blue TR6 spoke almost NO English.
EDIT2: I believe Gardener will quickly assume the TR6 mentor
position here in Puerto Rico.

Ding Dong!

Anders- you have an e-mail message waiting from
Tinster in Puerto Rico.

Permit me to be the first to say:

Welcome to the British Car Forum -
a nice place to spend some time, learn a few techical
things and enjoy good fellowship.

Dale in Bayamon, PR

I knew that there would be TWO new TR6's for Dale to supervise the rebuilding on.

Dale "the Tinster", Sr. Technician and Official BCF Puerto Rico Ambassador of Good Will.

Dale.....Break out your winter parka if you want to visit Ander's TR6. He's in Norway! But the internet makes the world so small. Or you could just email yourself to him as an attachment! :yesnod:

Thanks Bobby, already accomplished. I e-mailed Ander the
mugs of several BCFers chowing down in PR.

Wait, wait, wait.....seems there is a population EXPLOSION of TR6's going on in Puerto Rico!!! Just what EXACTLY were you doing when those hurricanes came through this year, HMMMMMM???

Just wish to thank Bobby and Dale for tremendous help, casting light on this TR6's history. Dale supplied a report from a recent inspection, and I am now much closer to knowing which car I have bought, and even if it's still sitting on the dock's in Puerto Rico, I hope to see it here in Norway eventually.
It seems the rebuild of this car took place in the US, possibly close to Lake Ontario where it's been said someone found it sitting in a horse barn. When I eventually receive the car from overseas, the age of the tires can perhaps tell me approximately when the rebuild was completed.
Dale's guess is at least 5 years back, which I think is highly probable.

Anyone heard about this blue TR6 having been sold to Puerto Rico?

Thanks also for a warm welcome to a newbie!

Anders
