TR6 Blower runs off and on

Hello all,

My blower runs then stops, runs then nothing
all the while heating up the fuse and eventually
that blows.
Any ideas?

Sounds like dry bearings to me.
 
ISTR you can't lube it properly even with the motor out. But maybe I've got it confused with another car.
 
Time for a rebuild.
The whole dash has to come out
It is really fun!!
