Are the blasting guns going to clog up if I blast parts that are "dirty" and not just rusty? Are these cabinets really to be used just for rusty parts?
Hasn't been a problem for me. Where I have trouble with dirty media (which includes dust from the glass beads) is in caking around the pickup for the gun, so it quits sucking media up to blast. The occasional blast of air into the pile of media in the bottom gets it flowing again.
I blast some nasty parts in mine. Keep the vac filter clean, change out sand occasionally. If it does clog, just put your gloved hand over nozzle for a second or two to back blow the tube clean.
