Anyone know if that welt piping (mine is black) around the aluminum surrounds on the door pillar came with the 3000 originally. I have a 1959 BT7. My piping is in poor shape and needs to be replaced (or removed). If it is original I will replace it. Although Im relatively sure it needs to be there, I did come across one picture of a car without it.
